Volunteer, donate, fundraise… to help us continue and grow our work

Every little bit of help you give, whether it’s practical support or a donation, will help us to reach more people affected by social isolation in Dorset.

However you choose to support us you’ll be helping our members to make new friends, become more confident socially, learn new skills  – and have fun. It’s hard for us to convey how much that means and what a difference it makes, but we hope the rest of this website has given you a flavour of that.

As a new charity there are lots of ways you can get involved to help us.

Specialist support:

Currently we need help with:

  • Marketing and PR – print and digital
  • Researching funders and advising us on preparing bids
  • Advising our trustees on some technical and policy issues, including property; digital strategy; service contracts…
  • Planning and running local fundraising events. Our members would like to help with these too.

Do get in touch if you want to help in other ways.

Make a donation:

We really appreciate all donations. And it’s easy to give – just click the Donate button here:

Fundraise for us:

Help us raise funds by organising a bake sale, a sponsored gameathon, a quiz… the list is as long as your imagination!  It’s easy to get started using the button below, or you may prefer to do it in your own way. Get in touch if we can help.
